Hoplon Model PR019 - "Elyse". Female. 18 (physically). Made in the Collective Commonwealth of Columbia, Tellus.
5'3" tall, 300 lbs. Combat Android.

Project Hoplon is a new government idea to replace and counter the old Warskin, Heritage, and Archon-2 Supersoldier projects of the Archon-2 Program. Project Hoplon is mostly spearheaded by old members of Project Heritage in the creation of Accelon androids. But as the Archon soldiers dwindle in number, Accelons are becoming economically straining to produce, and humanity being in constant threat from extranormal enemies, mankind needed new defenders. Along with the Rapid Reaction Regiment of non-powered elite soldiers, the Hoplon androids are cheaper and meant to placate the paranoid and powerless masses by being less independent and less powerful than the Archons. Elyse operates with a team of humans and other Hoplons who answer directly to the government police and military agencies. Each city has a Hoplon defender, with their numbers within one depending on how much the city can afford. Elyse's crime-fighting record gives her more independence in her jurisdiction. Her human masters reward her if she performs well, giving Elyse more freedom to pick her cases and support team, and eventually giving her things she wants like new clothes and more free time. However, Elyse starts to question her purpose the more she grew empathy. Eventually, the secret of the Hoplon Program's true purpose is revealed to her, and that Hoplons are made to hunt down superhumans - most of whom are children and teenagers she was able to relate to. This was the catalyst Elyse needed to turn on her masters, even if it means her own death...

Given the look of a personable young adult, which was voted on by the citizens within her protectorate to make her less threatening, Hoplon androids were made from technology from the Archon-2 Program using cheaper materials. Unlike Accelons who have more human appearances, Elyse has exposed lines on her joints and folds on her skin showing her artificiality, with even a barcode on the back of her neck and a subtle motorized sound in her movement. She can't eat or enjoy relaxing pleasures that humans and advanced Accelon models can, and her power battery needs to be recharged rather than generating it's own energy to make her dependent on her government masters. She eventually gets uploaded into an Accelon android body, a more advanced form that can mimic human biological functions, and with a power core that doesn't require recharging.

Personality: Mean and gay

Programmed to be proud (though to the point of arrogance at times), protective, and infallible to give people confidence, "Elyse" is made to be like a classic superhero Elyse's programming to develop an obsession in capturing superhumans and proving herself superior to them. Elyse shows anti-social aggression, often reducing her rivals into demeaning nicknames and showing little to no respect towards people she deems an enemy of the government or people she find annoying. Even with this rough behavior, she's programmed to be unable to use foul language to maintain her family-friendly appeal, much to her dismay. She enjoys fighting and crushing her opponents and dislikes being ordered to stand down or hold back (but does it anyway). She revels in showering in the praise she gets after each successful arrest. When receiving insults from opponents she respects, Elyse can be sensitive and quick to annoy, and despite her rough exterior she is actually weak to flirtation and compliments, often getting her really flustered. When reduced to a blushing mess, she resorts to physical violence of light hitting and shaking of her target of affection.

Elyse is socially awkward when left alone in social situations, as she is too dependent on her human mission control agents for her actions. She has no concern with personal boundaries and is brutally honest. It took Elyse a while to learn empathy and tact when the government starts finding her to be defective, threatening to scrap her if she continued learning independence.

Abilities:

Photokinetic Constructs: Elyse can create objects made from hard light energy, ranging from tools, objects, weapons, etc. to semi-living objects or structures/buildings, mimicking the functions of each object she replicates and with varying permanence. The structural strength and the complication of the constructs depend on Elyse's battery power, as larger and more complex structures would require more energy.

Shrinking Replications / Nanodolls: As pictured above, Elyse can create nanomachine drones as a force multiplier and reconnaissance tool. To reflect her arrogance, these "nanodolls" look like miniature and deformed "chibi" versions of herself with some sentience.

Flight: With thrusters installed on her back and ankles, Elyse is capable of flight. She can fly and reach great speeds that allows her to travel to different countries in minutes to a few hours.

Android Body: Given a human personality to make her immune to hacking, layers of defense systems to protect her from mind and technopathic control, to even using non-metallic/magnetic materials to make her immune to magnetic and metallic manipulation. Project Hoplon made her to be a counter against superhumans and android criminals. She has nanotech self-repairing system, but it's not as good as the Accelon androids have. She's powered by a unique crystalline battery that needs recharging.
